50 Black Hereford Bulls: average: $3,111
39 Black Hereford Females: average: $2,106

Buyers from 12 states huddled in the J&N Ranch sale barn to avoid the sub-zero wind chill temperatures outside.  Despite the cold, a good crowd was on hand at the ranch in Leavenworth, Kansas to greet a stout set of bulls and bred females.  Repeat buyers claimed 51% of the offering.  Most of the purchases went to commercial buyers in Kansas and Missouri.

The top selling bull, JN Balder Y473, went to Steven Birkholtz in Willow Lake, South Dakota for $8500.  The second high selling bull, JN Balder Y475, was purchased by Brock Johansen of Castle Dale, Utah for $7500.  In the female division, the high selling female, JN Balder 962, went to Blaney Farms in Easton, Kansas for $4000.  The second high selling female was JN Baldee 947.  She was purchased by Shannon Cooper in Clinton, Missouri for $3000.
